New Magazine Love: Sweet Paul

I'm quite a traditionalist when it comes to magazines and recipe books. Yes, I find recipes online, and spend a lot of time looking at cooking blogs, but what I really love is sitting on my couch with a cup of tea/glass of wine (depending on the time of day) surrounded my multiple recipe books and magazines. It's how I figure out what I'm cooking for a dinner party, or just dinner. My flatmate Ange can certainly attest to this.

But this morning I just discovered an online magazine that looks fantastic - Sweet Paul Magazine. One of my favourite food bloggers, i am baker, mentioned it on Facebook, so it would have been rude not to click through, and I'm glad I did!

It's an online magazine, that you can buy a printed copy of as well if you want. It's got quite a lot of ads for fantastic products, but only really if you live in American, which counts me out. But at 150 odd pages, it also has a huge range of recipes, little crafty project (perfect for Christmas) and lovely photographs. I think I might try these glitter acorns for Chrismukkah, if I can find acorns here that is...
The recipes look simple, but packed with flavour. They also seem a little different, which I love. Black Pepper & Balsamic Shortbread anyone? Or maybe Apricot & Apple Pork??
