Boobs and Food

I have a strong family history of breast cancer: my mum's a breast cancer survivor, and two of my beautiful aunts passed away from metastasised breast cancer.
Now today's post isn't going to be me going on about what you should and shouldn't eat to prevent or cure cancer, because I'm not sure I believe in that. What I do believe, is that no matter who you are, you should eat a good, healthy diet with lots of fruit and vegies, and plenty of treats along the way. But again, today's post isn't about that either.

Every October for about the last for about the last 7 years, I've held some form of pink event to help raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, and jet lag wasn't going to stop me holding one this year. So Monday I arrived home from Hong Kong bleary eyed, and Wednesday, we held a Pink Ribbon High Tea at work. We raised an amazing $7,500ish, which is a record. Along with baking, we have some amazing clients and suppliers who donated raffle prizes and items for us to auction off.

Today I thought I'd share with you some of the lovely, tasty, nibbles and baked delights my peeps at Leo Burnett and I cooked. I also thought I'd show you the lovely Michael Corridore photograph that I bought in the auction. Can't wait to get it home and hang it on the wall. Photo taken by the talented Keong.
