Pomegranate Molasses Salad Dressing

So I wasn't really going to be posting recipes while I was away, but I just can't help myself. Arielle, my sister, and I just discovered a delicious salad dressing recipe so I wanted to share it. Technically it's supposed to go on the Winter Tabbouleh from Moro's recipe book Casa but it actually tastes fantastic on most salads (which we proved tonight again by having it on salad a second night in a row.

On a side note, if you're ever in London and get a chance to go to the Moro restaurant, take it. It's fantastic Moorish food that has beautifully balanced flavours and spices.

Back to the recipe...

1 garlic clove, crushed
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
2 tbl Pomegranate Molasses (you can make your own or do what we did and buy it)
1 tbl water
4 tbl extra virgin olive oil (make sure you use the good stuff)
1/2 tsp sugar (if you want)
sea salt and black pepper

Basically, all you need to do is mix everything together. This is enough for one decent sized salad, but when I'm making salad dressing, I usually make a big batch (say four or five of the above) and use it whenever I want. No need to keep in in the fridge, just put it in the cupboard on hand for whenever you're making salad.
