Simply & Sincerely Me

One of the things I love most about cooking is being able to share something I've created with my friends and family, and watching them enjoy the food I cook. So often, the food seems much more complicated than it actually is, and I find myself saying “It was easy”. And it was. I guess that’s what I’m hoping to share. That cooking great food doesn’t have to be complicated or difficult. It can be simple, delicious and straightforward. It might not always be a raving success. Everyone has dishes that flop. But it’s about experimenting, having fun and most importantly, eating delicious food. 

What about the boring stuff…my name’s Alissa. I work in advertising, which is often long hours. But what makes it seem a mile away, is coming home and cooking a delicious meal in my kitchen that I love with a glass of wine to sip on. 

That’s enough about me, after all, we’re here to talk about food. I’d love to hear any feedback or comments that you have. And if there’s any recipes you’re dying to try, but want someone to test it out first send them through and I’ll see if I can give them a go.

  1. Toast may be my signature dish but I am very excited to see more simply and sincerely food.

    Love the philosophy, simplicity can have it all, and this philosophy may even help me graduate to a new signature dish!
